I consider myself a third-generation photographer, following in the footsteps of my father and great-grandfather. My earlier years were spent in darkrooms and photo studios. What better playground? There’s always been a gravitational pull to capture a moment, convey an emotion with a single image. In my sophomore year of high school I took my first photography class, armed with my father's film Canon AE-1 and the zealous teenage dreams of being the next Dorothea Lange I was ready to make my mark on the world.

​As you can imagine, the path didn't go according to plan. There were detours, roadblocks and times I felt lost with no sense of direction - I call it my early 20s. Now, whether by divine intervention or stupid luck, I find myself where I always intended to be - blessed with a career traveling to beautiful places, meet extraordinary people and sharing the journey.
